MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Jones and a second by <br />Councilmember Guerrero, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to <br />approve the Consent Agenda, less items 15 and 19. The motion carried unanimously. <br />(15) MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Jones and a second by <br />Councilmember Couch, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, <br />including the changes addressing precinct locations and early voting polling locations and <br />dates/times, to approve Resolution 2008-109R, as previously captioned. The motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />(19) MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Guerrero and a second by <br />Councilmember Couch, and amended to authorize the City Manager to clarify the <br />publication language, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to <br />approve Resolution 2008-113R, as previously captioned. The motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />END OF CONSENT AGENDA <br />22. Consider appointment to the following Boards and Commissions: <br />A. Youth Commission. <br />B. Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals <br />The following appointments were made: <br />. A. Carol Peters to the Youth Commission. <br />B. Pax Chagnon, to the Zoning Board of Adjustments as an alternate member, and <br />move the other alternate up as a voting member. <br />23. Public Hearing to receive comment for and against an amendment to the future <br />land use may from Low Density Residential to Commercial for Lots 3, 4, part of 5, <br />part of 6, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, part of 20 and part of 21, located at 1504 Apuarena <br />Springs Drive, 515 Zunker and 528 Zunker; amending the official zoning map of the <br />city by rezoning this tract from "SF-6" Single-family Residential to "CC" <br />Community Commercial; and amending the official zoning map of the city by <br />rezoning lots 1 and 2 out of the Charles Meiners Subdivision, generally known as <br />1503 Thorpe Lane. from Unzoned to "CC" Community Commercial, and consider <br />adoption of Zoning Ordinance 2008-25. <br />Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing at 9:14 p.m., and there being no public <br />comment, the Public Hearing was closed at 9:15 p.m. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Thomaides and a second by <br />Councilmember Couch, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to <br />approve Zoning Ordinance 2008-25, as previously captioned.
