24. Public Hearing to receive comment for and against an amendment to the official • <br />zoning may of the city by rezoning parts of Lots 3 and 4 , Original Town of San <br />Marcos from "CC" Community Commercial District to "CBA" Central Business <br />Area; located at 214 San Antonio Street, and consider adoption of Zoning <br />Ordinance 2008-26. <br />Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing at 9:17 p.m., and there being no public <br />comment, the Public Hearing was closed at 9:17 p.m. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Couch and a second by <br />Councilmember Thomaides, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, <br />to approve Zoning Ordinance 2008-26, as previously captioned. The motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />25. Public Hearing to receive comments for and against consideration of Ordinance <br />2008-27, annexing an area consisting of 16.30 acres, more or less, out of the John H. <br />Yearly Survey No. 508 and the L.S. Yeates Survey No. 509, located at 1664 <br />Centerpoint Road; approving a service plan for this area; including procedural <br />provisions; and declaring an emergency. <br />Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing at 9:37 p.m., and there being no public <br />comment, the Public Hearing was closed at 9:37 p.m. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Guerrero and a second by . <br />Councilmember Couch, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to <br />approve Zoning Ordinance 2008-27, as previously captioned. The motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />26. Public Hearing to receive comment for and against an amendment to the future <br />land use may from Low Density Residential to Public for a 16.19 acre, more or less, <br />tract of land located at 1664 Centerpoint Road; amending the official zoning map of <br />the city by rezoning this tract from "UZ" Unzoned to "P" Public and Institutional <br />District, and consider adoption of Zoning Ordinance 2008-28. <br />Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing at 9:41 p.m., and there being no public <br />comment, the Public Hearing was closed at 9:41 p.m. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Couch and a second by <br />Councilmember Guerrero, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to <br />approve Zoning Ordinance 2008-28, as previously captioned. The motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />27. Public Hearing to receive comment for and against a request for relief from <br />certain construction requirements for The Master's School final plat, a 16.30 acres, <br />out of the John H.
