<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />PROPOSITION NO. 10 <br /> <br />For/Against: Amend Section 7.04(a) to delete the provision <br />requiring that an affirmative vote of a <br />majority of the membership shall be necessary <br />to pass upon pending questions so as to allow <br />adoption of a motion by a majority of those <br />members present at a meeting. <br /> <br />PART 6. That this City having eleven election precincts, <br />said election shall be held at the following places in said <br />City: <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 11, at Dunbar Center in <br />said City; <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 12, at Guadalupe Center <br />in said City; <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 13, at San Marcos High <br />School Auditorium in said City; <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 20, at Bugg Lane Fire <br />Station in said City; <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 30, at Crockett School <br />in said City; <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 33, at Public Library in <br />said City; <br /> <br />In Election Prccinct No. 34, at Holland Strcet Firc <br />Station in said City; <br /> <br />. , <br />In Election Prec~nct No. 36, at American Lutheran <br />Church in said City; <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 44, at Woods Homes Auditorium <br />in said City; <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 45, at San Marcos Public <br />Building in said City; <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 46, at Travis Elementary <br />School in said City; <br /> <br />PART 7. That the polls at each of the above designated polling <br />places shall on said election day be open from 7:00 o'clock A. M. <br />to 7:00 o'clock P. M. <br /> <br />PART 8. That the City Secretary is hereby authorized and <br />instructed to provide and furnish all necessary election supplies <br />to conduct said election. <br /> <br />PART 9. That the order in which the names of the candidates are <br />to be printed on the ballot shall be determined by a drawing by <br />the City Secretary as provided by Article 6.05c, Subd. 3. <br /> <br />PART 10. -That Doriss Hambtick is hereby app6inte3 cletkfor <br />absentee voting. She is authorized to designate the necessary <br />deputy absentee voting clerks. The absentee voting for the <br />above designated election shall be held at City Hall, 630 East <br />Hopkins Street and at a Branch Absentee Voting Office in the <br />San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District Office <br />located at 501 South L.B.J. Drive. Said places of absentee <br />voting shall remain open for at least eight hours on each day <br />for absentee voting which is not a Saturday, a Sunday, or an <br />official state holiday, beginning on the 20th day and continuing <br />through the 4th day preceding the date of said election. Said <br />places of voting shall remain open between the hours of 8:00 a.m. <br />and 5:00 p.m. on each day for absentee voting. The main absentee <br />voting office, located at 630 E. Hopkins Street, is also the <br />absentee voting clerk's mailing address to which ballot applica- <br />tions and ballots voted by mail may be sent. Voting at the main <br />
