I I THE COUNTY OF HAYS I KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District, a quasi-municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "School", acting by and through its President of the Board of Trustees and the City of San Marcos, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "City", acting by and through its Mayor, enters into this Joint Election Agreement pursuant to the terms and provisions herein stated and pursuant to the terms of the Texas Election Code; to-wit: I. School and City hereby agree jointly to hold the regular election of officers for each political subdivision on Saturday, April 7, 1979. Said joint elections will be held at the same polling places in each precinct, said locations being: JOINT ELECTION AGREEMENT THE STATE OF TEXAS In Election Precinct No. 11 at Dunbar 6enter; In Election Precinct No. 12 at Guadalupe Hall ; In Election Precinct No. 13 at San Marcos High I School Auditorium; In Election Precinct No. 20 at Bugg Lane Fire Station; In Election Precinct No. 30 at Crockett School; In Election Precinct No. 33 at Public Library; In Election Precinct No. 34 at Holland Street Fire Station; In Election Precinct No. 36 at American Lutheran Church; In Election Precinct No. 44 at Woods Homes Auditorium; In Election Precinct No. 45 at San Marcos Public Safety Building; In Election Precinct No. 46 at Travis Elementary School. I It is agreed that all expenses incurred in the administra- tion of the elections within the corporate limits of San Marcos, Texas, will be shared equally by the School and City, provided however, that should construction of voting signs or booths to be used within the corporate limits of said City be necessary, the agency providing the labor for such construction will be responsible for only one-third (1/3) of the cost of materials. II. It is agreed by the parties hereto that a common ballot will be used for the joint election.
