It is agreed by the parties hereto that common ballot
boxes will be used for the joint election, to be provided
equally by the two agencies. The ballot boxes holding the
voted ballots for the election will be delivered by the
Precinct Judges to the School District Business Manager at
the School District Office, 501 South L.B.J. Drive, and said
boxes will remain in his custody except that School agrees
to deliver the boxes of voted ballots to City if requested
for canvass of the election or in the event the voted ballots
are required for any court proceedings in which the City may
be a party. School agrees to maintain custody of the ballot
boxes containing the voted ballots after delivery by the
City until the expiration of sixty (60) days following the
date of the election, at which time School will dispose of
the voted ballots in the manner prescribed by the Texas
Election Code and will return those ballot boxes owned by
City to City Hall.

III.
Joint returns of the election will be provided by the
Election Judges to the Mayor and School Board President and
to the City Secretary and School District Business Manager.
All returns by Election Officials will be made to the City
and School at the School District Office, 501 South L.B.J.
Drive, within said City following the closing of the various
polling places. The Mayor of the City and the City Secretary
will maintain custody of the returns until the completion of
the election canvass by the City Council, after which City
will deliver the original returns to the School District
Office for use by the School Board of Trustees election
canvass. School agrees to maintain custody of the election
returns upon delivery by the City for a minimum period of
60 days following the date of the election.
School also agrees to furnish City with the original
records upon request by the City in the event they are
required for any court proceedings in which the City may
be a party.

I

I

I
