Receive and record date of receipt of Shop Drawings <br />and salllples which have been approved by Engineer. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />Receive samples which are furnished at the site by <br />Contractor for Engineer's approval, and notify Engi- <br />neer of their availability. <br /> <br />c. Advise Engineer and Contractor or his superintendent <br />immediately of the commencement of any ~iDrk requiring <br />a Shop D,'al'ling or sample submission if the submission <br />has not been approved by Engineer. <br /> <br />5. Review of Work, Rejection of Defective Work, Inspections <br />iJnd Tests: <br /> <br />a., Conduct on-site observations of the Work in progress <br />to iJssist Engineer in determining that the Project <br />is proceeding in accordance with the Contract Docu- <br />ments and that completed ,Iork \;i11 conform to the re- <br />quirements of the Contract Documents. <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />Report to Engineer whenever he believes that any Work <br />is unsatisfactory, faulty or defective or does not <br />conform to the requirements of the Contract Documents, <br />or does not meet the requirements of any inspections, <br />tes ts or a pprova 1 requi red to be made, and adv i se E ngi neeI' <br />when he believes Work should be. corrected or rejected <br />or shuuld be uncovered for observation, or requires <br />special testing or inspection. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />c.
