<br />2 1/2-4(E)(5). The place of business and premises shall provide <br />for off-street parking as follows' <br /> <br />0) All-weather surface consisting of asphaltic concrete, portland <br />cement concrete or stablized base and constructed in compliance with <br />standards as approved by the Director of Public l'lorks shall be <br />provided on the premises for which the Conditional Use Permit is <br />applicable according to the standard of one (1) parking space <br />consisting of the dimension of eight (8) feet by twenty (20) feet, <br />one hundred and sixty-two (62) square feet, for each two hundred I <br />(200) square feet of total area, plus one space for each regular <br />employee. For purposes of meeting the requirements of this section, <br />total area of the place of business shall be the building floor <br />area available to the public andlor any outside service area. <br /> <br />(2) All parking areas and spaces shall be designed and constructed <br />so as to have free ingress and egress at all times. <br /> <br />(3) No parking space or parking area shall be designed so as to <br />require a vehicle to back into a public street or alleyway. <br /> <br />(4) No parking or parking area shall be constructed with a slope <br />of IllJre than six (6) per cent. In such cases where a variance may <br />be granted to construct a parking area with a slope of IllJre than <br />six (6) per cent, which in no instance shall exceed twelve (12) <br />per cent, each parking space shall be constructed at right angles <br />to the slope. In the event the Board of Adjustment shall consider <br />a variance, the Board of Adjustment shall have the authority to <br />impose drainage standaJxls calculated to minimize the effect of the <br />then increased slope. <br /> <br />(5) Drainage. All parking areas and spaces shall be constructed <br />in compliance with standards provided in the attached Exhibit A <br />as approved and adopted by the City Council: said standards to be <br />kept on record in the office of the City Secretary and the <br />Director of Public Works for inspection by the public during <br />reasonable office hours. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />(6) No parking area shall be designed or constructed which ends <br />in a dead end, if more than three (3) C)arking spaces in depth, <br />unless adequate turnaround space is pl'Dvided. <br /> <br />(7) All entrances or exits in a parking area shall be a min:imum <br />of thirty (30) feet fram the beginning point of any corner radius. <br /> <br />(8) All entrances or exits in a parking area shall be a minimum <br />of twenty-four (24) feet and a maximum of thirty (30) feet in <br />width, unless one-way, in which case they shall be a minimum of <br />twelve (12) feet for entrances and a minimum of nine (9) feet <br />for exits. <br /> <br />(9) The driveway app=ach angle to any parking area shall be a <br />maximum of sixteen (16) degrees, the departure angle a maximum <br />of ten (10) degrees, and the ramp angle a maximum of eleven (11) <br />degrees. <br /> <br />(0) All parking areas or parking spaces shall be set back a <br />minimum of five (5) feet f=m any public right-of-way. <br /> <br />(11) All off-street parking areas shall be separated from the <br />street right-or-way by a barrier, curb, or tire stop approved <br />by the Director of Public Works. <br /> <br />(12) Collective utilization of off-street parking by two (2) <br />or IllJre buildings or uses on p=perty of C01l11'lOn ~mership shall <br />be permitted, p=viding, however, that the total of off-street <br />parking spaces shall not be less than the sum of the requirements <br />for the particular individual uses computed separately in <br />accordance with applicable regulation for off-street parking spaces. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />~ <br />
