<br />'I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />2Sa <br /> <br />THE STATE OF .TEXAS <br /> <br />JOINT ELECTION AGREEMENT <br /> <br />THE COUNTY OF HAYS <br /> <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: <br /> <br />That the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District, a quasi- <br /> <br />municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "School", acting by <br /> <br />and through its President of the Board of Trustees and the City of San Marcos, <br /> <br />a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "Ci ty", acting by and <br /> <br />through its Mayor, enters into this Joint Election Agreement pursuant to the <br /> <br />terms and provisions herein stated and pursuant to the terms of the Texas <br /> <br />Election Code; to-wit: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />School and City hereby agree jointly to hold the regular election of <br /> <br />officers for each political subdivision on Saturday, April 1, 1978. Said <br /> <br />joint elections will be held at the same polling places in each precinct, <br /> <br />said locations being: <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 11 at Dunbar Center; <br />In Election Precinct No. 12 at Guadalupe Hall; <br />In Election Precinct No. 13 at San Marcos High School Auditorium; <br />In Election Precinct No. 20 at Bugg Lane Fire Station; <br />In Election Precinct No. 30 at Crockett School; <br />In Election Precinct No. 33 at Public Library; <br />In Election Precinct No. 34 at Holland Street Fire Station; <br />In Election Precinct No. 36 at American Lutheran Church; <br />In Election Precinct No. 44 at Woods Homes Auditorium; <br />In Election Precinct No. 45 at San Marcos Public Safety Building; <br />In Election Precinct No. 46 at Travis Elementary SchOol. <br /> <br />It is. agreed that all expenses incurred in the administration of the <br /> <br />elections within the corporate limits of San Marcos, Texas, will be shared <br /> <br />equally by the School and City, provided however, that sh6uld construction <br /> <br />of voting signs or booths to be used within the corporate limits of said <br /> <br />City be necessary, the agency providing the labor for such construction <br /> <br />will be responsible for only one-third (1/3) of the cost of materials. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />School and City hereby concur in the appointment of the following <br /> <br />election officials to serve for the joint election: <br /> <br />Precinct #11 - Yancy Yarbrough, Presiding Judge <br />Mrs. Celestino Mendez, Alternate Presiding Judge <br /> <br />Precinct #12 - Joe Gonzales, Presiding Judge <br />Mrs. LlJeiano H. Flores, Alternate Presiding Judge <br /> <br />Precinct #13 - Mrs. Rose Brooks, Presiding Judge <br />Mrs. Frances YbarTa, Alternate Presiding Judge <br /> <br />Precinct #20 - Mrs. Rudy Villalpando, Presiding Judge <br />Mrs. Gerald Champagne, Alternate Presiding Judge <br />
