Thanas, Alternate Presiding <Judge <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />It is agreed by the parties hereto that a common ballot will be used <br /> <br />for the joint election. <br />It is agreed by the parties hereto that common ballot boxes will be <br /> <br />used for the joint election, to be provided equally by the two agencies. <br />The ballot boxes holding the voted ballots for the electiori will be <br />delivered by the Precinct Judges to the City Secretary at City Hall, <br /> <br />630 E. Hopkins, and said boxes will remain in her custody until the <br /> <br />completion of the election canvass by the City Council on Monday, April 3, <br /> <br />1978. City agrees to deliver the boxes to the School District Office at <br /> <br />501 South L. B.J. Drive on Monday, April' 3, 1978, no later than 7: 00 p.m., <br /> <br />C.S.T., to be used by the School Board of Trustees; canvass of the election. <br /> <br />School agrees to maintain custody of the ballot boxes containing the voted <br /> <br />ballots after delivery by the City until the expiration of sixty (60) <br /> <br />days following the date of the election, at which time- School will dispose <br /> <br />of the voted ballots in the manner prescribed by the Texas Election Code <br /> <br />and will return those ballot boxes owned by City to City Hall. <br /> <br />IV. <br /> <br />Joint returns of the election will be provided by the Election Judges <br /> <br />to the Mayor and School Board President and to the City Secretary and School <br /> <br />District Business Manager. All returns by Election Officials will be made <br /> <br />to the City and School at City Hall, 630 East Hopkins, within said City <br /> <br />following the closing of the various polling places. The Mayor of the City <br />and the City Secretary w~ll maintain custody of the returns until the <br />completion of the election canvass by the City Council, after which City <br /> <br />will deliver the original returns to the School District Office for use by <br /> <br />the School Board of Trustees election canvass. School agrees to maintain <br /> <br />custody of the election returns upon delivery by the Cit~ for a minimum <br /> <br />period of 60 days following the date of the election. <br />
