74 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1978-21-R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF THE COM- <br />PLETION OF T-HANGARS CONSTRUCTED AT <br />SAN MARCOS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT; <br />AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT OF <br />$25,256.20 TO WORTHINGTON ENTERPRISES, <br />INC., AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, has contracted with <br />Worthington Enterprises, Inc., where the construction of the <br />T-Hangars at San Marcos Municipal Airport, San Marcos, Hays <br />County, Texas; and, <br />WHEREAS, the construction of these T-Hangars was completed on. <br />February 20, 1978; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Airport Liaison Officer inspected and recommended <br />these T-Hangars and determined that the contractual provisions <br />for construction of said T-Hangars had been met by the Worthington <br />Enterprises; and, <br />WHEREAS, Worthington Enterprises, Inc. requests final payment: for <br />the completion of the T-Hangars; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS., TEXAS: <br />Section 1. That the work performed by the Worthington Enterprises, <br />Inc. in constructing the T-Hangars at San Marcos Municipal Airport, <br />be, and is hereby, accepted as being complete effective on the <br />20th day of February A. D., 1978, pursuant to the terms of the <br />contract for said construction. <br />' Section 2. That the City of San Marcos is hereby authorized to make <br />final payment to the Worthington Enterprises, Inc. for said <br />construction in the amount of twenty-five thousand, two hundred <br />fifty-six and twenty cents ($25,256.20). <br />Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect immediately from <br />and after its passage. <br />ADOPTED this 27th day of February A. D., 1978. <br />?4" <br />Frank T.
