The"plan shall describe child and adolescent after- <br />care services to persons after their discharge from <br />Austin State Hospital, including the identification <br />of potential and probahle case loads, types of ser~ <br />vices to be provided, methods of determining case- <br />worker loads, and means of determining schedules. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />e. Mental health and mental retardation hospitalization <br />shall be described, including the identification of <br />potential and probable case loads, analysis of faci- <br />lities available, services available from each, me- <br />thods of accessing services and types and levels of <br />support re'qui red. <br /> <br />f. The plan shall describe the Austin State Hospital <br />Outpatient services including identifying potential <br />and probahle case loads, types of services avail- <br />able, methods of accessing services, laboratory work, <br />X-rays, FEG's, and neurological examinations avail- <br />able to Scheib Mental Health. <br /> <br />Program Area Two shall include a plan for the operation <br />of a Developmental Training Center (DTC) as a permanent function <br />of the San Marcos Outreach program of the A~stin State School. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />This plan shall be prepared by the Contractor in such a <br />form and manner as will be consistent with the overall goals and <br />design for the use of this Mental Health/Mental Retardation facility <br />as a DTC. The Contractor assures that the use and implementation <br />of this plan is the ultimate reason for its preparation and cove- <br />nants to prepare a plan which will be valuable as a reference to <br />the persons operating the facility upon its completion. The Con- <br />tractor further assures that this plan shall, at a minimum, in- <br />clude a detailed analysis and description of services to be pro- <br />vided in the following areas: <br /> <br />a. Types of developmental training services to all <br />levels of mentally retarded persons and their <br />families in the San Marcos-Hays County area shall <br />be described and the plan shall also include an <br />estimate of the probable case loads. <br /> <br />b. An adult .developmental training program to be pro- <br />vided at the Center and thc homc management pro- <br />gram tbat shall n..rovide an alternative to the in- <br />stitutionalization for mentally retarded indivi- <br />duals shall be described. <br /> <br />c. The plan shall descrihe direct services at the <br />Center that will ensure that mentally retarded <br />individuals will receive training in areas of <br /> <br />Page 7 of 17 Pages <br />
