Prior to advertising for bids on the construction of the <br />Project, the Grantee/Borrower will submit a "Certification of <br />Nonsegregated Facilities" as required by the May 9, 1967, <br />order (32 F. R. 7439, May 19, 1967) on Elimination of Segregated <br />Facilities, by the Secretary of Labor, agreeing to provide <br />prospective construction contractors on the Project with the <br />following notice: <br /> <br />"NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE FEDERALLY ASSISTED <br />CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS <br /> <br />A Certification of Nonsegregated Facilities, as required by <br />the May 9, 1967, order (32 F. R. 7439, May 19, 1967) on Elimina- <br />tion of Segregated Facilities by the Secretary of Labor, must be <br />submitted prior to the award of a federally assisted construction <br />contract exceeding $10,000 which is not exempt from the provisions <br />of the Equal Opportunity clause. <br /> <br />I~ <br /> <br />Contractors receiving federally assisted construction contract <br />awards exceeding $10,000 which are not exempt from the provisions <br />of the Equal Opportunity clause will be required to provide for <br />the forwarding of the following notice to prospective sub- <br />contractors for supplies and construction contracts where the <br />subcontracts exceed $10,000 and are not exempt from the provisions <br />of the Equal Opportunity clause: <br /> <br />NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE SUBCONTRACTORS OF <br />REQUIREMENT FOR CERTIFICATIONS OF NON- <br />SEGREGATED FACILITIES <br /> <br />A Certification of Nonsegregated Facilities, as required by the <br />May 9, 1967, order (32 F. R. 7439, May 19, 1967) on Elimination <br />of Segregated Facilities by the Secretary of Labor, must be sub- <br />mitted prior to the award of a subcontract exceeding $10,000 <br />which is not exempt from the provisions of the Equal Opportunity <br />clause. <br /> <br />Contractors receiving subcontract awards exceeding $10,000 which <br />are not exempt from the provisions of the Equal Opportunity <br />clause will be required to provide for the forwarding of this <br />notice to prospective subcontractors for supplies and construc- <br />tion contracts where the subcontracts exceed $10,000 and are <br />not exempt from the provisions of the Equal Opportunity clause." <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />f. If the Project includes sewer or other waste disposal facilities, <br />no Government funds will be disbursed unless the Environmental <br />Protection Agency issues a certificate as required by Section 106, <br />P. L. 89-136; <br /> <br />g. The Grantee/Borrower shall file the certification and agreements <br />required by Section 711, P.L. 89-136, as amended, 13 CPR 309.7 as <br />amended. <br /> <br />-4- <br />
