I I I 128 ORDINANCE NO. 1978- 52 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 29 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, ENTITLED "TRAFFIC", BY DELETING FOUR LOCATIONS FROM SECTION 29-122, ENTITLED "STOP SIGNS", OF ARTICLE V, ENTITLED "TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES", OF SAID CHAPTER; BY ADDING TO SECTION 29-122, ENTITLED "STOP SIGNS", OF THE AFORESAID ARTICLE AND CHAPTER, NINE LOCATIONS FOR STOP SIGNS; BY ADDING TO SECTION 29-121, ENTITLED "YIELD SIGNS", OF THE AFORESAID ARTICLE AND CHAPTER, FOUR LOCATIONS FOR YIELD SIGNS; BY ADDING TO SECTION 29-123, ENTITLED "NO PARKING ANYTIME", OF THE AFORESAID ARTICLE AND CHAPTER, THREE LOCATIONS TO BE DESIGNATED NO PARKING ANYTIME ZONES, BY DELETING ONE LOCATION FROM SECTION 29-123, ENTITLED "NO PARKING ANYTIME" OF THE AFORESAID ARTICLE AND CHAPTER; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: Section 1. That Section 29-122 entitled "Stop Signs", of Artlc1e V, entitled "Traffic Control Devices", of Chapter 29 of the City Code of Ordinances be, and is hereby, amended by deleting the following locations from the list of locations for authorized stop signs, to-wit: Intersection Direction of Approach North South East South C. M. Allen Parkway and Cheatham Street Lucio Street and Cheatham Street Sarah Street and Owens Street Meiner Street and Mill Street Section 2. That Section 29-122, entitled "Stop Signs", of the aforesaid Article and Chapter of the City Code of Ordinances, be, and is hereby, amended by adding nine new locations at which drivers, in accordance with the provisions of the City Code, shall stop at stop signs posted on the intersections specified from the directions indicated, to-wit: Intersection Direction of Approach C. M. Allen Parkway and Cheatham Street Dartmouth Street and Earle Street Girard Street and Hazelton Street Leah Avenue and State Highway 123 Lindsey Street and Fredericksburg Street North Barbara Drive and Bugg Lane Post Road and Aquarena Springs Road Springtown Way and Thorpe Lane Springtown Way and the west access road to Interstate Highway 35 All Directions South South/North West West North ~~oufh East West Section 3. That Section 29-121, entitled "Yield Signs", of the aforesaid Article and Chapter of the City Code of Ordinances, be, and is hereby, amended by adding four new locations at which drivers, in accordance with the provisions of the City Code, shall yield the right-of-way to other vehicles, to-wit:
