Customers with demands exceeding 500 kilowatts in any month shall be billed in accordance with the Basic Large Lighting and Power Rate, Schedule JiV--SlV. CHARACTER OF SERVICE Alternating current, single or three phase, sixty cycles. Voltage supplied will be at the discretion of distributor and will be deterniine1l by the voltage available from distribution lines in the vicinity and/or other conditions. ' DETERMINATION OF DEMAND Demand measurement shall be made by suitable instnnnents at the point of delivery. Demand for any month shall be defined as the highest average load during any thirty (30) minute period during the month for which detennination is made but in no case less than 10 KW. ADJUSTMENT OF DEMAND mARGE FOR POWER FACTOR Demand charge may be adjusted, if and when distributor deems necessarr, to correct for power factors lower than eight-five (85) per cent. Such adjus'bnents will be made in such manner as to bring the demand charge to the equivalent of eighty-five (85) per cent power factor. MINIMUM BILL I Customers taking service lUlder this schedule shall pay a minimlUll annual charge, including demand and energy, of $14.28 plus the SlUll of all applicable rate adjusbnents per kilowatt of the highest measured demand occurring during any month of each year of service. For annual customers the excess, if any, of the minimlUll annual charge over ,the total amount billed to and paid by customer shall be detennined and collected at the end of each year of service.
