<br />1621 <br /> <br />exhibit a continued <br /> <br />LOWER COLORADO RIVER AmHORITY <br />STANDARD MUNICIPAL POWER RATE, IN <br />EFFECT WITHIN nIE CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br />SCHEDULE V -77 <br /> <br />APPLICABILITY <br /> <br />III <br /> <br />Applicable to electric power requirements for the operation of pumping and <br />compressing equipment of municipally-awned and operated water supply systems, <br />sewage disposal systems and artificial gas plants. <br /> <br />CHARACTER OF SERVICE <br /> <br />Alternating current, single or three-phase, 60 cycles. Voltage supplied will be <br />detennined by the voltage available from distribution lines in the vicinity and/or <br />other conditions. <br /> <br />RATE <br /> <br />The rate for this service consists of two parts as follows: <br /> <br />1. Investment Charge <br /> <br />The annual investment charge shall be 14.28% (including operation, <br />maintenance, depreciation, and return on investment) applied to the investment <br />detennined as set forth below. This charge will be recomputed on July I <br />of each year and 1/12 of the total annual charge so computed will be billed <br />customer monthly. <br />cuStomer mon <br />2. Energy Charge <br /> <br />13.08 mills per KWH for all energy used. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />RATE ADJUS'lMENI'S <br /> <br />Charges resulting from application of the above rates shall be adjusted in <br />accordance with the Retail Rate Adjustment Schedule currently in effect as <br />approved by the City Council of the City of San Marcos. <br /> <br />TERMS OF PAYMENT <br /> <br />Above rate is net, the gross rate being ten per cent (10%) higher. In the <br />event the current monthly bill is not paid within ten (10) days from date of bill, <br />the gross rate shall apply. <br /> <br />PRIMARY METERING <br /> <br />The above rate is based upon the supply of service to the entire premises <br />at primary voltage. If the service is metered on the low voltage side, the <br />kilowatt hours measured shall be increased two per cent (2%) for billing purposes <br />to cover transformation losses. <br /> <br />SINGLE VOLTAGE <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Service shall be gelivered to the entire premises through a single delivery <br />and metering point, and at a single voltage. In case more than one voltage is <br />required, customer shall provide all additional transformation facilities nE~essary <br />to obtain the additional voltage. Lighting service, if separately metered, shall <br />be billed on the regular published rate applicable to the service. <br /> <br />METHOD OF DETERMINING AU1IDRITY"'S <br />INVESlMENT <br /> <br />The investment in property and equipment used as a basis for the investment <br />charge contained in this schedule shall consist of the cost of the facilities <br />devoted exclusively by the Authority to service rendered under this schedule. If <br />funds used in financing the cost of any part of such facilities have been received <br />as contributions a deduction shall be made from the annual investment charge in <br />the amount of six per cent (6%) Qf the total of such funds. <br />
