<br />IT2b <br /> <br />PROPOSITION NO. 8 <br /> <br />FOR: AMENDING SEC. 10.02 BY REQUIRING PROVISION BE MADE ANNUALLY TO <br />ASSESS AND COLLECT A SUM SUFFICIENT TO PAY THE INTEREST ON ANY <br />DEBTS OF THE CITY AND TO CREATE A SINKING FUND OF AT LEAST 2% <br />OF SAID DEBT. <br /> <br />AGAINST: AMENDING SEC. 10.02 BY REQUIRING PROVISION BE MADE ANNUALLY TO <br />ASSESS AND COLLECT A SUM SUFFICIENT TO PAY THE INTEREST ON ANY <br />DEBTS OF THE CITY AND TO CREATE A SINKING FUND OF AT LEAST 2% <br />OF SAID DEBT. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />PART 6. That this City having eleven election precincts, said election shall be <br />held at the following places in said City and the following named persons are <br />hereby appointed officers for said election: <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 11, at Dunbar Center in said City, with Yancy <br />Yarbrough as Presiding Judge and Mrs. Celestino Mendez as Alternate <br />Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary <br />clerks to assist him which shall not exceed four clerks. <br />I <br />In Election Precinct No. 12, at Guadalupe Center in said City, with Joe <br />Gonzales as Presiding Judge and Mrs. Luciano H. Flores as Alternate Presiding <br />Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist <br />him which shall not exceed four clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 13, at San Marcos High School Auditorium in saiil City, <br />with Rose Brooks as Presiding Judge and Frank Contrerras, Jr., as Alternate <br />Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks <br />to assist her which shall not exceed four clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 20, at Bugg Lane Fire Station in said City, with <br />Margie Villalpando as Presiding Judge and Mrs. Gerald Champagne as Alternate <br />Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks <br />to assist her vhich shall not exceed four clerks. <br /> <br />III <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 30, at Westover Baptist Church in said City, with <br />Jack Cates as Presiding Judge and Laura Roberts as Alternate Presiding J~dge, <br />and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist hi:m which <br />shall not exceed four clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 33, at Public Library in said City, with Beverly <br />Pennington as Presiding Judge and Irene Trinidad as Alternate Presiding Judge, <br />and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist her which <br />shall not exceed four clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 34, at Holland Street Fire Station in said City, with <br />Mrs. J.R. Thornton as Presiding Judge and Irene Holland as Alternate Presiding <br />Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist <br />her which shall not exceed four clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 36,cat American Lutheran Church in said City, with <br />'~a Sara Carpenter as Presiding Judge and Susan Jarrett as Alternate Presiding <br />Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist <br />her which shall not exceed four clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 44 at Woods Homes Auditorium in said City, with William <br />Earrnaaille as Presiding Judge and Joe Martinez as Alternate Presiding Judge, <br />and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist him <br />which shall not exceed four clerks. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 45 at San Marcos Public Safety Building in said City, <br />with Mrs. C.M. Waldrip as Presiding Judge and Mrs. Robert Storey as Alternate <br />Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to <br />assist her which shall not exceed four clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 46 at Travis Elementary School in said City, with <br />William Liddle as Presiding Judge and Mrs. D.B. Thomas as Alternate Presiding <br />Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist <br />him which shall not exceed four clerks. <br />
