THE S'rATE OF TEXAS JOINT ELECTION AGREEMENT THE COUNTY OF HAYS KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: ~~hat the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District, a quasi-municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "School", acting by and through its President of the Board of Trustees and the City of San Marcos, a municipal corpora- III tion, hereinafter referred to as the "City", acting by and through its Mayor, enters into this Joint Election Agreement pursuant to the terms and provisions herein stated and pursuant to the terms of the Texas Election Code; to-wit: 1. School and City hereby agree jointly to hold the regular election of officers for each political subdivision on Saturday, April 2, 1977. Said joint elections will be held at the same polling places in each precinct, said locations being: In Election Precinct No. II at Dunbar Center In Election Precinct No. 12 at Guadalupe Hall In Election Precinct No. 13 at San Marcos High School Auditorium In Election Precinct No. 20 at Bugg Lane Fire Station In Election Precinct No. 30 at Westover Church In Election Precinct No. 33 at Public Library In Election Precinct No. 34 at Holland Street Fire Station In Election Precinct No. 36 at American Lutheran Church In Election Precinct No. 44 at Woods Homes Auditorium In Election Precinct No. 45 at San Marcos Public Safety Building In Election Prec inct No. 46 at Travis Elementary School. It is €~reed that all expenses incurred in the ad.ministration of the elections III within the corporate limits of San Marcos, Texas will be shared equally by the School and City, provided however, that should construction of voting signs or booths to be used within the corporate limits of said City be necessary, the agency providing the labor for such construction will be responsible for only one-third (1/3) of the cost of materials. II. School and City hereby concur in the appointment of the following election officials to serve for the joint election: Precinct #ll - Yancy Yarbrough, Presiding Judge Mrs. Celestino Mendez, Alternate Presiding Judge Precinct #12 - Joe Gonzales, Presiding Judge Mrs. Luciano H.
