<br />THE S'rATE OF TEXAS <br /> <br />JOINT ELECTION AGREEMENT <br /> <br />THE COUNTY OF HAYS <br /> <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: <br /> <br />~~hat the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District, a quasi-municipal <br /> <br />corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "School", acting by and through its <br /> <br />President of the Board of Trustees and the City of San Marcos, a municipal corpora- III <br /> <br />tion, hereinafter referred to as the "City", acting by and through its Mayor, <br /> <br />enters into this Joint Election Agreement pursuant to the terms and provisions <br /> <br />herein stated and pursuant to the terms of the Texas Election Code; to-wit: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />School and City hereby agree jointly to hold the regular election of officers <br /> <br />for each political subdivision on Saturday, April 2, 1977. Said joint elections <br /> <br />will be held at the same polling places in each precinct, said locations being: <br /> <br /> In Election Precinct No. II at Dunbar Center <br /> In Election Precinct No. 12 at Guadalupe Hall <br /> In Election Precinct No. 13 at San Marcos High School Auditorium <br /> In Election Precinct No. 20 at Bugg Lane Fire Station <br /> In Election Precinct No. 30 at Westover Church <br /> In Election Precinct No. 33 at Public Library <br /> In Election Precinct No. 34 at Holland Street Fire Station <br /> In Election Precinct No. 36 at American Lutheran Church <br /> In Election Precinct No. 44 at Woods Homes Auditorium <br /> In Election Precinct No. 45 at San Marcos Public Safety Building <br /> In Election Prec inct No. 46 at Travis Elementary School. <br />It is €~reed that all expenses incurred in the ad.ministration of the elections <br /> <br />III <br /> <br />within the corporate limits of San Marcos, Texas will be shared equally by the <br /> <br />School and City, provided however, that should construction of voting signs or booths <br /> <br />to be used within the corporate limits of said City be necessary, the agency <br /> <br />providing the labor for such construction will be responsible for only one-third <br /> <br />(1/3) of the cost of materials. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />School and City hereby concur in the appointment of the following election <br /> <br />officials to serve for the joint election: <br /> <br />Precinct #ll - Yancy Yarbrough, Presiding Judge <br />Mrs. Celestino Mendez, Alternate Presiding Judge <br /> <br />Precinct #12 - Joe Gonzales, Presiding Judge <br />Mrs. Luciano H. Flores, Alternate Presiding Judge <br /> <br />III <br /> <br />Pre,cinct #13 - Mrs. Rose Brooks, Presiding Judge <br />Frank Contreras, Jr., Alternate Presiding Judge <br /> <br />Precinct #20 - Mrs. Rudy Villalpando, Presiding Judge <br />Mrs. Gerald Champagne, Alternate Presiding Judge <br />
