194a THE STATE OF TEXAS COONTY OF HAYS CHARLES S. COCK HCME SERVICE CONrRACT I KN:M ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That on this 28th day of February , A.D., 1977, the City of San Mll'cos, Hays County, Texas, a municipal corporation existing by and under the laws of the State of Texas, hereinafter referrEd to as "City", acting through its Mayor, Dr. Elrrnie Craddock, or her successor, hereunto duly authorizEd by resolution of the City Council of said City, ani the Heritage Guild of the Heritage Associa.tion of San Marcos, Inc., hereinafter referrEd to as "Guild", entere:l into this asrreement having the terms, consideration and conditions as follow: 1. The "Guild" will be a co-sp:msorEd activity of the Parks arrl Recreation Department of the City of San Marcos for the purposes of conducting the operation and activities of the Charles S. Cock Jbrne. I II. The "Guild", as a co-sponsore:l activity of the Parks anj, Recreation Department, v!i,ll, in lieu of paying useage fees for the halle, provide supplies and interior custodial services incident to the building being open to the public, as ,,-,=11 as other services in keeping with the operation of the lkJme as a House Museum. III. The City Park and Recreation Department will sche:lule reservations for useage of the Jbrne by the public ani collect fees incident thereto. IV. I The "Guild" will be responsible for opening ani securing the building mn for providing other assistance to manbers of the public who desire a tour of the Herne or a reservation of the lbIre for use for a group activity. The Parks and Recreation Department will coordinate the opening arrl securing of the building with a representative of the "Guild".
