All salaries charged to this project should be supported by appropriate time distribution sheets. . 3. Expenses may be charged in accordance with carrrnunity policy to the extent they are in ccmpliance with OMB A-87 ard related state ard federal cost allONance regulations. 4. The City agrees to continue to employ a fulltime coordinator, who is subject to approval by the Office, of Traffic Safety, State Deparbrent of Highways and Public Transportation. 5. 'futal cost rellnburserrent shall not exceed the value shown on the approved grant application. 6. Unless prior approval in writing is granted fran the Office of Traffic Safety, Texas Department of Highways and Public Transportation, !Xl costs may be incurred after the end of the contract period specified. 7. All costs reimbursed are SUbject to verification by OTS Auditors. Documentation by source document must be maintained. No matching ratio is intended for thi s contract. 8. Approval of this contract does not commit nor promise to commit funds for future programs. Equipment purchased with funds from the Texas Office of Traffic Safety, for the purpose of this contract implementation and performance is subject to the conditions in National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Policy Memorandum Number R6-B-501A, which provides: If equipment is no longer available to the project through loss, theft, accident or circumstances other than normal wear it shall be the responsibility of the grant recipient to provide for, replacement 'of such equipment', If the equipm'~nt retain~d by the recipient subsequent to the project period for continued traffic safety use becomes unusable for any reason, the responsibility for replacement shall be the grant recipient's and shall be ineligible for Federal participation under this program.
