Revisions to correct <br />design deficiencies or minor modification will be accomplished under <br />Basic Services, Phase 2. <br />3.3.6 Office work required in preparation of property and ease- <br />ment descriptions together with work in plotting, computing, and other <br />associated work. <br />3.3.7 Preparation of the Infiltration/Inflow An~lysis, and <br />other engineering studies or analyses authorized in writing by the <br />OWNER. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 4 <br />COMPENSATION <br />4.1 DEFINITION OF TERMS <br />4. 1.1 COn6~u~on Co~t. Construction cost is defined as the <br />total cost to the OWNER for the execution of each individual item of <br />work authorized and handled in each separate phase of ergineering services, <br />excluding charges or other costs for engineering and legal services, the <br />cost of land, rights-of-way, legal and administrative expenses; but includ- <br />ing the direct cost to the OWNER of all construction contracts, items of <br />construction, including labor, materials, and equipment, required for the <br />completed work (including extras) and the total value at site of PROJECT <br />of all labor, materials and equipment purchased or furnished directly by <br />the OWNER for the PROJECT. <br />4. 1.2 S~y Co~t. Salary cost is defined as the cost of sellar- <br />ies of engineers, draftsmen, stenographers, clerks, laborers, etc., for <br />time directly chargeable to the PROJECT, plus social security contribu- <br />tions, unemployment excise and payroll taxes, employment compensation <br />insurance, retirement benefits, medical and insurance benefits, sick <br />leave, vacation and holiday pay.
