<br />. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />\ <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1977-44-R <br /> <br />116 I <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A CON- <br />TRACT FOR SERVICES BETWEEN HAROLD V. SIMPSON <br />AND COMPANY AND THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />PROVIDING FOR AUDIT AND OTHER ACCOUNTING SER- <br />VICES AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, TO EXECUTE SAID <br />CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas desires <br />to have a regular annual audit performed and other additional <br />accounting services provided to the City; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Harold V. Simpson and Company, a qualified firm of certi- <br />fied public accountants, desires to provide said services; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />Part 1. That the contract between the City of San ,Marcos, Texas and <br />Harold V. Simpson and Company for a regular annual audit and other <br />addi tional accounting services, a copy of said contract being attached <br />hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, be, and <br />is hereby, in all things approved. <br /> <br />Part 2. That the Mayor, Mr. Frank T. Arredondo, or his successor, <br />be, and is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of said City <br />that contract therein approved. <br /> <br />Part 3.
