THE STATE OF TEXAS 0 i THE COUNTY OF HAYS 0 JOINT ELECTION AI'lREEMENT KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District, a quasi- municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "School", acting by and through its President of the Board of Trustees and the city of San Marcos, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "City", acting by and through its Mayor, enters into this Joint Election Agreement pursuant to the terms and provisions herein stated and pursuant to the terms of the Texas Election Code ; to-wit: 1. I School and City hereby agree jointly' to hold the regular election of officers for each political subdivision on Saturday, April 3, 1976. Said joitn elections will be held at the same polling places in each precinct, said locations being: In Election Precinct No. 11 at Dunbar Center In Election Precinct No. 12 at Guadalupe Hall In Election Precinct No. 13 at San Marcos High School Auditorium In Election Precinct No. 20 at Bugg Lane Fire Station In Election Precinct No. 30 at Westover Church In Election Precinct No. 33 at Public Library In Election Precinct No. 34 at Holland Street Fire Station In Election Precinct No. 36 at American Lutheran Church In Election Precinct No. 44 at Woods Homes Auditorium In Election Precinct No. 45 at American Legion Building In Election Precinct No. 46 at Travis Elementary School. It is agreed that all expenses incurred in the administration of the elections within the corporate limits of San Marcos, Texas, will be shared equally by the School and City, provided however, that should construction of voting signs or booths to be used within the corporate limits of said City be necessary, the agency providing the labor for such construction will be responsible for only one-third (1/3) of the cost of materials. II.
