RESOLUTION NO. 1976-29-R 26 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, <br />MR. JAMES B. BAUGH, OR HIS SUCCESSOR, TO SUBMIT <br />IN BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AN <br />APPLICATION FOR HOUSING AND NEIGHBORHOOD PRESER- <br />VATION GRANTS UNDER TITLE I OF THE HOUSING AND <br />Sa4MITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974 IN THE AMOUNT <br />OF $125,000. <br />' WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, has previously participated <br />in the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of.San Marcos, Texas, desires <br />to make application for additional funds under Title I of the Housing.and Com- <br />munity Development Act of 1974 for the purpose of securing funds for housing <br />and neighborhood preservation; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br />PART 1: That the City Manager, Mr. James B.
