47 RESOLUTION NO. 1976-34-R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH 1HE SAN MARCOS" HOUSING AlIDIORITY AND BRUCE G. CONWAY FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING IMPROVEMENTS TO MARY LANE AND SWRGEON" DRIVE, AND AUTHORIZ ING THE MAYOR TO" EXECUI'E SAID CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY. I WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City COtmcilof. the City of San Marcos, Texas, the Housing Authority of San Marcos, Texas, and Bruce.G. Conway, that twelve htmdred eighty-five (1285) feet of Sturgeon Drive and one htmdred sixty (160) feet of Mary Lane should be improved. in the fonn of paving, curbing and guttering in a manner so as to. confonn with standards for new street construc- tion previously approved by the City; and, WHEREAS, the City Cotmcil, the San Marcos Housing Authority and Bruce G. Conway wish to enter into a contract for the joint funding of this project; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY 1HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the City of San Marcos enter into'. an agreement with the San Marcos Housing Authority and Bruce.G. Conway for' the purpose of constmct- ing improvements to Mary Lane and Sturgeon Drive. PART 2. That the contract attached.and made apart.oLthis Resolution be- tween the City, the San.Marcos Housing Authority and Bruce G. Conway be, and is hereby, in all things approved. PART 3. That Dr. Emmie Craddock, Mayor _ of the Ci ty of. San Marcos, or her successor, be, and is hereby, authorized to execute' said contract. I PART 4. That this Resolution take effect :iJnmediately from and after the date of its passage. ADOPTED this 24th day of May, 1976.
