<br />-2- <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />TRACT B. There are three (3) fields in Tract B, two are tr i-' <br />angularly shaped and the other is a pentagon. Turf-type grasses are <br />preferable in Tract B, especially in the triangularly shaped fields, <br />but other crops may be grown in this Tract provided the Lessee first <br />establishes and agrees to maintain turfed areas 80 feet in diameter <br />around each of the drains within or adjacent to the field in which <br />non-turf cropping is carried out, so as to prevent the silting of <br />these drains. Crops in Tract B must not obscure inter-runway vision <br />in anyway and must not exceed a maximum of five (5) feet in height:. <br /> <br />TRACT C. Tract C may be used for the growing of field crops <br />(row crops, broadcast or drilled crops) or for the grazing of live- <br />stock at, the option of the Lessee. However, before livestock are <br />introduced onto the premises, and so long as they remain, fencing <br />capable of containing said livestock must be situated and maintained <br />to completely enclose the area used for grazing. Lessee assumes all <br />responsibility for controlling all livestock placed in Tract C and <br />agrees to promptly return any livestock which may escape from the <br />enclosed area. Lessee also assumes any and all liability for damage <br />caused by any livestock that escape from the enclosed areas. <br /> <br />All activities incidental to or in connection with the use of the <br />property herein leased shall be conducted in a manner so as to intro- <br />duce no hazard to the landing, takeoff or moving or aircraft or <br />otherwise limiting or interfering with the use of the Airport. <br /> <br />The use of the property herein leased shall not in any manner <br />interfere with nor impair the drainage facilities of the Airport. <br /> <br />III. Access <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />Lessee further agrees to minimize the use of runway and taxiway <br />surfaces; i.e., in traveling to and from fields and in crossing these <br />surfaces. Lessee will not turn farm equipment at the end of rows, etc., <br />on apved surfaces. Lessee agrees to take care that dirt, mud, rocks, <br />etc., are not carried onto ,these surfaces by any farm equipment and <br />that if such should occur that Lessee will promptly remove same, or <br />cause it to be done, at no expense to the Lessor. Farm tractors and <br />machinery will enter enclosed fields only at points specified below. <br />See attached map also. <br /> <br />a. The north and west most triangular field will be entered <br />only across the west most end of runway 4. <br />,b. The pentagon shaped field will be entered only across t:he <br />west' most end of taxiway F . <br />c. The south and east most triangular field will be entered <br />only from the pentagon shaped field across the east end of <br />runway 26 where it intersects with runway 17-35. <br />d. The several field situated between the concrete apron and <br />the segments of runways 8-26 and 12-30 closest thereto will <br />be entered only across taxiways that also bound these fields. <br /> <br />IV. Notification of Work and Machinery Markings <br /> <br />Lessee agrees to notify the Fixed Base Operator operating the <br />UNICOM radio prior to the start of any farming or mowing operations <br />in Tract A or B so that pilots may be notified by UNICOM radio or <br />other means. All equipment should be distinctly marked or lighted <br />so as to be highly visible to aircraft using the airport. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />V. Structures <br /> <br />No structures o~ any type (fencing, buildings, etc.) may be loca- <br />ted by Lessee upon Tracts A or B. Structures, other than fences, may <br />be placed upon Tract C only after the consent of the Lessor has been <br />obtained. Fencing shall be placed in accordance with the provisions <br />of Part II of this agreement. No structure may be located on any <br />tract (A,B, or C) that would threaten or inhibit the use of the air- <br />port for aviation purposes. <br />
