RESOLUTION NO. 1975-27-R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A CORRECTION DEED OF DEDICATION FROM THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS OF CERTAIN DIS- POSITION PARCELS LOCATED WITHIN NDP PROJECT TEX. A-6. ---------- l" 41 WHEREAS, by Deed of Dedication dated the 6th day of November, 1972, the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of San Marcos dedicated Dis- position Parcels 1A-2B, 4-1, 8-3, 1l-1, and 7-2 to the City of San Marcos and the City accepted said Deed of Dedication by its Ordi- nance No. 1972-38, Passed and Approved the 27th day of November, 1972; and I WHEREAS, the City requested of Agency that certain corrective action be taken specifically with regard to Disposition Parcel lA-2, con- veyed to the City by Warranty Deed dated the 6th day of November, 1972, namely, to-wit: that a portion of said Disposition Parcel 1~-2 as described in the said Warranty Deed be dedicated to the City for public and semi-public use in accordance with the Urban Renewal Plan and that only the remaining portion of said parcel necessary for the construction of the Police and Courts Building be conveyed to the City; and WHEREAS, such action has been agreed to and that portion of Disposi- tion Parcel lA-2, which is to be dedicated to the City has been added to and made a part of Disposition Parcel lA-2B, NDP Project Tex. A-6, Fourth Action Year; and WHEREAS, it is necessary for Agency to execute and deliver a Correc- tion Deed of Dedication to the City which will include the revised property description for Disposition Parcel lA-2B; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: I Section 1. The Correction Deed of Dedication from the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of San Marcos, Texas, to the City of San Marcos for public and semi-public use dedicating Disposition Parcels lA-2B, 4-1, 8-3, 8-3A, 11-1, and 7-2, located within said Deed is hereby accepted in place of the original Deed of Dedication dated the 6th day of November, 1972, and accepted by Ordinance No. 1972-38, Passed and Approved the 27th day of November, 1972. Section 2. This Resolution shall be in effect from and after its passage.
