<br />II <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />52-a <br /> <br />The motion carried by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Mayor Craddock and Councilmen Arredondo <br /> <br />Breihan <br /> <br />T)inTf~ll <br /> <br />Flores <br /> <br />Hansen <br /> <br />Sutton <br /> <br />NOES: None. <br /> <br />The Mayor announced that the ordinance had been passed finally. <br /> <br />The Ordinance is as follows: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, each and all of the members of the City Council of <br /> <br />the City of San Marcos was duly and sufficiently notified, offi- <br /> <br />cially and personally, in advance, of the time, place and purpose <br />of this meeting; and <br /> <br />vWEREAS, proper notice of this meet.ing has been duly and <br /> <br />timely posted as provided by law; and <br /> <br />IHIEREAS, the City CO\.1I1cil determines and finds the advisability <br /> <br />and necessity of constructing a city hall for said City and that <br /> <br />same is an authorized need and said City has the requisite power <br /> <br />and authority to contract for such construction and to issue <br /> <br />interest-bearing certificates of obligation for the purpose of <br /> <br />payj,ng the contractual obligation and indebtedness of said City <br /> <br />to be incurred by such construction, and for legal services and <br /> <br />other related expenses in connection therewith; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos has <br /> <br />heretofore passed an ordinance authorizing the issuance of CITY <br /> <br />OF SAN l1ARCOS CERTIFICATES OF OBLIGATION, SERIES 1974, for the <br /> <br />purpose of paying the contractual obligation and indebtedness <br /> <br /> <br />to be incurred in the constructing of a eity hall for said City <br /> <br />and for legal services and other related expenses in connection <br /> <br />there-_Ii th, and a contract vias duly entered into for said purpose; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WlillREAS, the following claim, duly verified, has been pre- <br /> <br />sented to the City Council: <br /> <br />CLAIM DATE <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />PURPOSE <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />1/10 June 4, lq75 <br /> <br />Construetion of <br />a city hall <br /> <br />Bohlmann, Inc. <br /> <br />$34,740.00 <br />
