<br />123-a <br /> <br />PURSUANT TO SECTION 6.27 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF <br />THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, THE FOLLOWING RULES AND <br />REGULATIONS ARE APPLICABLE TO THE SAN MARCOS CEMETERY: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />1. ADMISSION TO CEMETERY. Entrance into the cemetery except <br />through the main entrance is hereby prohibited. The cemetery <br />shall be open to the public from 8:00 a.m. Central Standard Time <br />to 6:00 p,m. Central.Standard Time and during Central Daylight <br />Time from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br />2. INTERMENTS AND DISINTERMENTS. The City reserves the right <br /> <br />to refuse interment on any lot except upon written application by <br /> <br />the lot owner or owners made out on forms provided by the City <br /> <br /> <br />and duly filed in the Office of the City Secretary. The applicant <br /> <br />for an interment permit must specify the exact location of the <br /> <br />burial space desired to be opened. When instruction regarding the <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />location of an interment space cannot be obtained, or is indefinite, <br /> <br />or when for any reason the burial space cannot be opened where <br /> <br />specified, the Cemetery Caretaker or the City Secretary may direct <br />that the burial space be opened in such location on the burial lot <br />as they deem best and proper, so as not to delay the funeral; and <br />the City shall not be liable in damages for any error so made. The <br />City shall not be held responsible for any order given by telephone, <br /> <br />or for any mistake occurring for want of precise and proper instruc- <br />tions as to the particular space, size, or location on a lot where <br />an interment is desired.' Disinterment of a body will not be permitted <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />in the absence of a court order of a court of competent jurisdiction <br />or written permission from some person having authority to permit <br />the same. Moturaries performing the service of interment or assisting <br />in disinterments shall be responsible for the cleaning of the grave- <br />I <br />sites and re~oving all debris, fill, or equipment resulting from or <br /> <br />used by the J1tortuary performing.the.service. <br />I <br />
