<br />123-d <br /> <br />B.) Live flowers may be planted and cultivated on any grave at any <br />time, subject to Section 11 of these rules and regulations. Fresh <br />cut flowers will be allowed at any time, but they will be removed <br />within two weeks, or if in the cemetery caretaker's opinion they <br />become unsightly or detrimental to maintenance. Artificial flowers, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />sprays, or wreaths will be allowed, however they will be removed by <br />the Caretaker when they become unsightly or blown off of the graves. <br />All decorations must be firmly secured or fastened to ground or <br />marker. The placing of boxes, shells, stones, boulders, toys, metal <br /> <br />designs, chairs, settees, urns, fences, trellises, wood or metal cases, <br /> <br />and similar articles upon lots shall not be permitted. If any tree, <br /> <br /> <br />shrub, vine or plant growing upon any lot, walk or road shall by <br /> <br /> <br />means of its roots, branches or otherwise become detrimental to the <br /> <br />adjacent lots, walks or roads, the caretaker shall have the right to <br /> <br />remove or cut same when in his judgement he may determineCit for the <br /> <br />best interests of the cemetery grounds. Fresh cut or artificial <br />flowers may be placed only in non-glass containers. Unfilled vases <br />will not be allowed to remain on lots, unless permanently affixed to <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />a monument, and will be removed from the lots on the first day of <br />each month, and held subject to the order of the lot owner for a period <br />of one month from the date of said removal, after which any respon- <br />sibility of the cemetery or the City of San Marcos ceases; and disposal <br />will be made of the same as the caretaker deems advisable. Vaults, <br />tombs, sarcophaguses, mausoleums (except that mausoleum presently <br /> <br />owned by the City), or like structures are expressly prohibited. <br />The vault hereinbefore named does not contemplate the underground <br /> <br />vault customarily used to encase a casket. <br /> <br />8. ROADWAYS AND REPLATTING. <br /> <br />A.) The right to enlarge, reduce, replat and/or change the boundaries <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />or grading of the cemetery or of a section or sections, from time <br /> <br />to time, including the right to modify and/or change the locations <br /> <br />of or remove or regrade roads, drives, and/or walks, or any part <br />I <br /> <br />thereof, is hereby expressly reserved to the City. The right to lay, <br /> <br />maintain and operate or alter or change pipelines and/or gutters for <br />sprinkling systems, drainage, is also expressly reserved to the City; <br /> <br />~4- <br /> <br />~ <br />
