<br />123-c <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />6. ENCLOSURE OF LOTSPROHlBITED. From and after the effective date <br />of these rules and regulations no enclosure of any kind, such as a <br />fence, curbing, coping, hedge, or ditch, shall be permitted around <br />any grave or lot in any addition. In the event an existing enclo- <br />sure is damaged so that it becomes unsightly, is hazardous to the <br />safety of visitors, or in any way infringes on the property of adjacent <br />lot owners, such enclosure must be repaired or removed at the expense <br />of the owner. In the event repair of damage or dilapidation is not <br />possible, replacement will not be permitted. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />7. MONUMENTS, MARKERS, AND DECORATION OF LOTS. <br />A.) No memorial, monument or grave marker (except the temporary <br />marker placed by funeral homes) will be allowed on any burial space <br />until the purchase price of the space has been fully paid and the <br />deed has been delivered to the purchaser. No monument or marker may <br />be erected without first having obtained a permit for placement from <br />the City Secretary. Persons erecting monuments, or doing work of <br />any kind, shall not scatter material or rubbish over adjoining lots <br />or leave the same on the ground longer than is absolutely necessary. <br />Persons performing work shall be required to complete their efforts <br />as soon as possible and remove rubbish at once. Monument firms will <br />be held responsible for any damage done by them to other monuments, <br />grass, trees, or any object whatsoever in the cemetery, and shall at <br />all times be subject to the control and direction of the Caretaker. <br />Planks must be provided for dumping and rolling stone on walks or <br />grass. All commercial enterprises are prohibited from placing their <br />names on any work or signs placed within the cemetery when such work <br />or signs are designed or calculated to advertise the firm or product. <br />No monument work will be permitted in the cemetery on Saturday after- <br />noons, Sundays or holidays observed by the City or before 8:00 a.m. <br />or after 5:30p.m. on any weekday. Lot owners shall be required to <br />go to the cemetery and to locate the placement of monuments prior to <br />the construction of the foundation; otherwise the City will assume no <br />responsibility for the correct location, and any changes ordered by <br />the owners will be made at their expense, No upright monuments or <br />markers will be allowed in the Dixon Addition or in Sections "N" and <br />"Mil of the Old Original Addition of the San Marcos Cemetery. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />"3" <br />
