91-k b. All rooms containing sanitary or laundry facllities shall have the following. 1. Sound-resistant walls extending to tne ceiling oetween male and female sanitary facilities. Walls and partitions around showers, bathtubs, lavatories and other plumoing fixtures shall be constructed of dense, non-absorbent, waterproof materials or covered with moisture resistant materials. 2. At least one window or sKylight facing directly I to the outdoors. Tne minimum aggregate gross area of windows tor each required room shall be not less than ten (10) per cent of tne floor area served by them. 3. At least one window which can be opened easily, or mechanical device which will adequately ventilate the room. c. Toilets shall be located in separate compartments equipped with self-closing doors. Shower stalls snaIl be of the individual type. Tne room shall be screened to prevent direct view of the lnterior wnen the exterior doors are opened. d. Illumlnation levels shall De maintained as follows: 1. General seeing tasks - five (5) footcandles; 2. Laundry room work area - forty (40) footcandles; 3. Toilet room, in front of mirrors - forty (40) footcandles. e. Hot and cold water shall be furnished in every lavatory, sink, bathtub, shower, and laundry fixture; and cola water shall be furnished to every water closet and urlnal. I f. Heating. Service buildings shall be maintained at a comfortable temperature by heating equipment permltted by City regUlations. (3) Barbecue Pits, Fireplaces, Stoves and Incinerators. Cooklng shelters, baroecue pits, fireplaces, wood-burnlng stoves and inclnerators shall be located, constructed, maintainea and used so as to minimize fire hazards and smoke nuisance, both on the property on which used, ana on neighboring property. No open fire shall be permitted except in facilities provided. No open fire shall be left unattended. No fuel shall be used and no material burned which emits dense smoke or objectionable odors. K. Refuse and Garbage Handling. (1) The storage, collection and disposal of refuse in the mobile home park shall be so conducted as to create no health hazards, rodent harborage, insect breeding areas, accident of fire hazards or air pollutlon. One or ooth of the systems descrlbed in the followlng paragraphs (2) or l3) shall be used in every park. (i) If refuse is gathered at the indivldual sltes, it shall be stored in fly tight, watertight, rodent-proof containers WhlCh Shall be located at each mobile home site. Containers for this use shall be provlded by the moblle home owner in sufflcient number I and capacity to store properly all refuse. (3) Conveniently located refuse contalners having a capacity of three l3) CUblC yards or larger may oe provided. If provided, such containers shall be so oeslgned as to prevent splllage, container deterioration and to facilitate Cleaning around them. Refuse and garbage shall be removed from the park at least twice a week.
