<br />91-k <br /> <br />b. All rooms containing sanitary or laundry facllities <br />shall have the following. <br /> <br />1. Sound-resistant walls extending to tne ceiling <br />oetween male and female sanitary facilities. Walls and <br />partitions around showers, bathtubs, lavatories and other <br />plumoing fixtures shall be constructed of dense, non-absorbent, <br />waterproof materials or covered with moisture resistant <br />materials. <br /> <br />2. At least one window or sKylight facing directly I <br />to the outdoors. Tne minimum aggregate gross area of windows <br />tor each required room shall be not less than ten (10) per cent <br />of tne floor area served by them. <br /> <br />3. At least one window which can be opened easily, <br />or mechanical device which will adequately ventilate the room. <br /> <br />c. Toilets shall be located in separate compartments <br />equipped with self-closing doors. Shower stalls snaIl be of <br />the individual type. Tne room shall be screened to prevent <br />direct view of the lnterior wnen the exterior doors are opened. <br /> <br />d. Illumlnation levels shall De maintained as follows: <br /> <br />1. General seeing tasks - five (5) footcandles; <br /> <br />2. Laundry room work area - forty (40) footcandles; <br /> <br />3. Toilet room, in front of mirrors - forty (40) <br />footcandles. <br /> <br />e. Hot and cold water shall be furnished in every <br />lavatory, sink, bathtub, shower, and laundry fixture; and <br />cola water shall be furnished to every water closet and urlnal. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />f. Heating. Service buildings shall be maintained at <br />a comfortable temperature by heating equipment permltted by <br />City regUlations. <br /> <br />(3) Barbecue Pits, Fireplaces, Stoves and Incinerators. <br />Cooklng shelters, baroecue pits, fireplaces, wood-burnlng stoves <br />and inclnerators shall be located, constructed, maintainea <br />and used so as to minimize fire hazards and smoke nuisance, both on <br />the property on which used, ana on neighboring property. No <br />open fire shall be permitted except in facilities provided. No <br />open fire shall be left unattended. No fuel shall be used and no <br />material burned which emits dense smoke or objectionable odors. <br /> <br />K. Refuse and Garbage Handling. <br /> <br />(1) The storage, collection and disposal of refuse in the <br />mobile home park shall be so conducted as to create no health <br />hazards, rodent harborage, insect breeding areas, accident of <br />fire hazards or air pollutlon. One or ooth of the systems descrlbed <br />in the followlng paragraphs (2) or l3) shall be used in every park. <br /> <br />(i) If refuse is gathered at the indivldual sltes, it shall <br />be stored in fly tight, watertight, rodent-proof containers WhlCh <br />Shall be located at each mobile home site. Containers for this <br />use shall be provlded by the moblle home owner in sufflcient number I <br />and capacity to store properly all refuse. <br /> <br />(3) Conveniently located refuse contalners having a capacity <br />of three l3) CUblC yards or larger may oe provided. If provided, <br />such containers shall be so oeslgned as to prevent splllage, <br />container deterioration and to facilitate Cleaning around them. <br /> <br />Refuse and garbage shall be removed from the park at least <br />twice a week. <br />
