Contractor agrees that: it shall comply with Section .503 of the Rehab:[li- <br />t:at~on Act of 1973, Pub. L. 93-112, as amended by the Rehabilitation Act <br />Amendments of 1974, Pub. L. 93-516, and the rules, regulations and orders <br />relating thereto, which are incorporated, herein by this reference as if <br />fully rewritt:en, and covenants that it will take affirmative action to <br />employ and advanc, e in .emplo~ent qualified handicapped individuals and <br />will not discrim:~nate in an employment situation against handicapped <br />individuals if such individuals are capable of performing the work <br />involved in t:he employment situation. <br /> <br />The Contractc, r w:£11 include the provisions of this Section in every sub-- <br />contract or purch, ase order of $2,500.00 or more unless exempted by rules, <br />regulations,, or orders of the Secretary of Labor issued pursuant to <br />Section 503 c,f the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, so that such provisions <br />will be binding upon each subcontractor or vendor. The appliCation of this Section shall be governed by the <br />regulations found at 41 C~F.R. i;' ~. <br /> .~60-2~0. ) <br /> <br />Contractor agrees that it shall comply with Section 402 of the Vietnam <br />Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974 and the rules, regula- <br />tions and orders relating thereto which are incorporated herein by this <br />reference as :if fully' rewritten, and covenants that it will take affirma-- <br />tire action to employ' and advance in employment qualified veterans and <br />disabled veterans of the Vietnam era and will not discriminate in an <br />employment sit:uation against mentally or physically handicapped or dis- <br />abled veterans or against otherwise qualified Vietnam Era Veterans, if <br />such individuals are capable of performing the work in the employment <br />situation. <br /> <br />The Cont:ractor will include the provisions of this .Section in every sub-. <br />contract or purchase order of $10,000.00 or more unless exempted by <br />rules, regulations, or orders of the Secretary of the United States <br />Department of Labor, so that: such provisions will be binding upon each <br />smbcontractor or vendor.
