OTHER DEPAR1HENTS Other county or cities departments or agencies not 'assigned a disaster' mission under this plan will make their personnel and facilities available to perform emergency duties or support other departments as directed by the appropriate chief executive or his designated representative. VI. ACTIONS UNDER VARIOUS CONDITIONS A. INCREASED READINESS l. Assemble and brief county/cities officials. 2. Pass appropriate information to the unincorporated communities for appropriate action. 3. Arrange for printing and distribution of CSP. 4. Review plans, personnel rosters, shelter status. training require- ments and status of equipment. 5. Top off gas tanks in auxiliary units and operational vehicles. Check spares and prepare to fix flat tires. 6. Update rosters and plans as necessary. 7. Prepare EOC's for occupancy; man on skeleton basis or completely at the judgement of the chief executives or their alternate. 8. Review or draft material to be released to the public overKCNY, KRlffi, and KLBJ radio stations, TV stations. TV Cable as the emergency dictates. 9. Begin any training classes necessary to fill vacancies or serve as refresher for DP staff on a crash basis, if required. 10. Prepare standby plans for extended communications such as extra telephones, radios or runners.,
