<br />48 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1974-27-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF tHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, CONCURRING <br />WITH THE HARRIS COUNTY MAYOR'S AND <br />COUNCILMEN'S ASSOCIATION AND THE TEXAS <br />MUNICIPAL LEAGUE AND URGING AND SUPPORTING <br />LEGISLATION FOR REGULATION OF UTILITIES <br />AT THE STATE LEVEL. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, supports the concept of regulation of utilities at the <br />state level; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That certain resolution enacted by the Harris <br />County Mayor's and Councilmen's Association be, and is hereby, <br />in all things approved and incorporated herein for all intents <br />and purposes for which the City Council offers its support. <br /> <br />PART 2.
