BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the follwing described property, approximately 133 acres, more or less, adjoining the existing city limits of the City of San Marcos, Texas, out of the J.M. Veramendi League No. 2, to-wit: BEGINNING at a re-entrant corner of the existing City Limits on the North line of the Fairlawn Addition, a subdivision of record in Volume 120, Page 368, at its intersection with a line 300 feet Southeast of the Sout~heast line of Inter- state Highway 35 for the most Westerly Southwest corner of the tract herein described; THENCE, with the existing City Limits line, and the projection thereof, same being 300 feet Southeast of the SoUtheast line of Interstate Highway 35, as established by an annexation ordinance adopted by the Cityo~f San Marcos and recorded in Volume 41, Page 100, of the Minutes of the San Marcos City Council, in a Northeasterly direction to the approx- imate centerline of the Blanco River for the most Northwesterly corner of the tract herein described; THENCE, following the approximate centerline of the said Blanco River, downstream, to its intersection with the projection of the Northeast line of Lot 4, Block 2, of the said Fairlawn Addition, for the most Southeasterly corner of the tract herein described; THENCE, with the projection thereof and the Northeast line of the said Lot 4, Block 2, of the said Fairlawn Addit±Qn, in a Northwesterly d±re~t£on, j~oin±ng the eximting City Limits at the East corner of the said Lot 4, Block 2, and continuing on with the North- easterly and Northerly line o~ the said Fairlmwn Addi- tion to the POINT OF BEGINNING, containing 133 acres of land, more or less; be, and the same is hereby, annexed to the City of San Marcos, Texas. SECTION 2. That the corporate limits of said City be, and the same are hereby, extended to include said described territory. SECTION 3. That said described territory shall henceforth be a part of the City of San Marcos, Texas and any inhabitants there- of shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges of all citizens, and shall be bound by the acts and ordinances, resolutions and regulations of said City. SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days from and after final passage and publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
