The council approved expenditure of tlGO.OO to cover the <br />cost of annual membership dues in the Discover Texas -Association. <br />Association membership includes Texas tourist attractions, cities <br />and the like. The primary function of the association is the over- <br />all development of tourism in Texas, through a collective effort <br />on the part of tourist oriented entities. <br /> <br />4. The council is seriously considering contracting "lith <br />Brooks Advertising Agency in San Antonio for a comprehensive study <br />that l,i.rill concern itself 1,rJith the compilation of "That the city and <br />area has to offer tourists. Such a study will cost tSOO.OO.
