I CSM-100 At the present time we are holding $315,000.00 in receipts from the General Revenue Sharing Program. We are presenting the following proposals for the dispersements of these funds: 1. Street Improvements - Z. BYug Program 3. Shop Construction 4. Utilities 5. Contingency $231,000.00 12,200.00 30,000.00- 30,000.00 12,000.00 $315,200.00 TOTAL Street Improvements Street improvements would include paving and drainage improve- ments for Thorp Lane, Linda Lane, and that portion of Edward Gary adjacent to the railroad depot and connecting to LBJ Drive. Thorp Lane would be constructed as an assessment paving p~ogram with the plans and specifications previously submitted by Lockwood, Andrews and Newman. We. have already paid for the engineering plans and specifications on these streets and will be able to realize some value for the expense involved in the engineering services. We could proceed with these paving and drainage improvements almost immediately. Drug Abuse Program The City of San Marcos would contract with the Community Action Agency ror the operation of a drug abuse information program in the amount of $12,200.00. A copy or the proposed contract is attached to this memorandum. Shop Construction We w~u1d propose the addition or a metal bUilding or approximately 4,000 square reet to be attached to an existing metal building of approximately 1,500 square reet adjacent to the north fence
