RFA 210 -006
Wells Fargo fully supports future - dating of wires. Future -dated wires can be input, approved, and
released so they will automatically be executed on value date. In fact, they are the first
transactions released in our processing day.
The CEO Wire Transfer service lists future -dated wires in the Pending Wires queue. Reports are
not available for future -dated wire transfers initiated through our other wire initiation methods.
Wells Fargo accepts future -dated domestic and international wire transfers of up to 60 calendar
days through all of our initiation methods. Our Standing Transfer Order service allows for the
automatic initiation of domestic and international wires, and domestic drawdown wires, based
upon predefined parameters, including date.
5. State wire access, posting, and cut -off times.
Wells Fargo's Wire Department is open and available for wire transfer services at 7:30 a.m.
Central Time. Cut -off times by transfer type for initiating wires, ensuring same -day execution, are
listed in the table below. Deadlines apply for all wire transfer initiation channels, including CEO
Wire Transfer and telephone (voice) service. All times are listed in Central Time.
Wire Type
Opening Time CST
Cutoff Time CST
Fedwire intra - district
7:30 a.m.
4:30 p.m.
Fedwire inter- district
7:30 a.m.
4:30 p.m.
Drawdown request
7:30 a.m.
4:30 p.m.
International SWIFT
7:30 a.m.
4:30 p. m.
International Telex
7:30 a.m.
4:30 p.m.
Book transfer /intemal
7:30 a.m.
7:00 p.m.
6. State the applicant's policy on the use of ledger balances for outgoing wires in
anticipation of daily activity or incoming wires.
Wells Fargo uses available balances for outgoing wires. In the event that the City
expects to occasionally experience daylight overdrafts because wires are being sent out
before sufficient funds are in the account (for instance, from anticipated incoming wires)
we can look to put in place a daylight overdraft line. Upon award of the City's contract,
your Relationship Team will work to establish a daylight overdraft line sufficient to cover
any funding differences with regard to any incoming or outgoing wire activity.
7. Is the ability to do internal transfers available on -line?
Yes
I. ACCOUNT RECONCILIATION The City currently uses full reconciliation on
Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Medical Clearing accounts. Full reconciliation on
deposit accounts is not anticipated. Provide the following information:
1. Describe your full reconciliation services.
