RFA 210 -006
Full Account Reconciliation: The City would send issued check information to Wells Fargo.
Wells Fargo would then match the issued check information with the paid check information and
provide reports to the City showing both matched and outstanding checks.
Ensuring accuracy is a critical function of any data transmission service. At Wells Fargo, we
designed our system to provide prompt verification that all your records were received and
processed.
If you subscribe to our ARP File Confirmation service, our system automatically sends you an
ARP File Confirmation Report each time you transmit an ARP register file. This report is
transmitted by electronic transmission, email, or fax, and it confirms that your file was accurately
captured. Specifically, it lists the number of register items received, the number of items
captured, and the total dollar amount of captured items. It also details each rejected register item
along with the reason it was rejected. This comprehensive approach ensures the integrity of the
data files you submit.
2. Are reconciliation reports available on -line?
Reports are available in paper and online through the Commercial Electronic Office (CEO).
Reports are maintained online for 3 months.
3. Describe the cost efficiencies, if any, of combining partial reconciliation with
positive pay in your bank.
Positive Pay is normally used in conjunction with Full Account Reconciliation. However, Positive
Pay can be used in conjunction with Partial Account Reconciliation. There is not a monthly cost
for out Positive Pay Service.
4. When are reports available for full reconciliation? Are they online or paper?
Downloadable? Update Abilities?
ARP Paper Statements are generated and mailed within 4 business days. The City will be able to
access the ARP statements and their ARP optional reports via the Commercial Electronic Office
business portal. The statement and reports will be sent in a PDF file or downloadable in CSV or
Excel formats for the customer to manipulate as needed.
5. Provide samples of account reconciliation reports.
You can view sample ARP reports through the CEO demo at
https:/ /wellsoffice.wellsfargo.com /ceo public /product demos /demo portal /index.isp
J. OPTICAL IMAGING Describe the applicant's optical imaging process and what
items are able to be captured (checks, statements, deposit slips, deposited items, etc.).
Provide the following information:
1. Describe the service and provide sample reports and screen layouts.
