<br />VIII. <br /> <br />That the present Section 30-35 of the Code of Ordinances <br />of the City of San Marcos, Texas, be deleted and an entirely <br />new section under the same number be substituted therefor, so <br />that said section shall henceforth read as follows: <br /> <br />SECTION 30-35 RATES <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />(A) A charge shall be paid by all persons owning or <br />occupying premises which are connected with the sanitary <br />sewerage system of the City in accordance with the following <br />scheduled rates and such charges as are hereinafter described <br />are hereby levied and assessed: <br /> <br />(1) 0 - 2,000 gallon minimum $2.00 <br />over 2,000 gallons as $0~20 per 1,000 gallons water <br />used <br /> <br />(2) All educational institutions with in-resident students <br />shall pay $0.30 per 1,000 gallons calculated on the follow- <br />ing formula: <br /> <br />Resident students X 50 gallons per day <br />Non:-resident students X.15 gallons per day <br />Faculty and Staff X 15 gallons per day <br /> <br />IX; <br /> <br />This ordinance shall become effective after due legal <br />passage and publication in a newspaper of general circulation <br />in the area. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />PASSED on first reading February 28, 1972. <br />PASSED on second reading March 13, 1972. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED <br /> <br /> <br />A.TTEST: <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Dorothy <br />City Sec <br /> <br /> <br />nt!!L <br /> <br />APPROVEO AS TO FO~ <br /> <br />Qgf+t/,ar" . <br /> <br />City Attorney <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />March 30 ( 1972 <br /> <br />PUBLISHED IN THE SAN MARCOS RECORD <br />
