97 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1981-44R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF S~iN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE <br />SAN MARCOS CEMETERY RULES AND REGULATIONS <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, section 6,19 of the Code of OrdinanceS, City <br />of San Marcos, Texas, authOrizes the making of such rules, <br />regulations and requirements as shall be deemed necessary <br />for the orderly and efficient operation of the San Marcos <br />Cemetery as to the maintenance of the grounds, burial of <br />the dead, the erection of marker stones or other identifying <br />media, and the planting of shrubs, trees and flowers; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the San Marcos Cemetery Rules and Regulations <br />were last approved by the San Marcos City Council in Resolution <br />1979-73, adopted October 22, 1979; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the San Marcos City Council has examined the <br />attached San Marcos Cemetery Rules and Regulations and deems <br />them necessary for the orderly and efficient operation of the <br />San Marcos Cemetery; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br /> PART 1. That the San Marcos Cemetery Rules and Regulations, <br />a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein <br />for all intents and purposest are 'hereby approved and adopted <br />for the administration of the San Marcos Cemetery. <br /> <br />PART 2. That Resolution 1979-73 is hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> PART 3.
