119 RESOLUTION NO. 1981-45R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY ODUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPBOVING THE TERMS AbD CONDI- TIONS OF AN AGREEMENT WITH DABNEY-BYtR~ AND AS- SOCIATES FOR SURVEYISE SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROVISION OF A STRIP RIGHT-OF-WAY MAP 5OR BISHOP STREEt; AUTHORIZINS ~HE CITY MAAI~GER OF SAID CITY 50 EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Bishop Street in the City of San Marcos, Texas, needs recon- structing and widening; and, WHEREAS, there is the need for improved drainage facilities on Bishop Street; and, WHEREAS, right-of-way lines must be established on Bishop Steet; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos desires to engage the services of a registered surveyor to develop a strip right-of-way map which will shc~ the existing and eighty (80) foot right-of-way limits; and, WHEREAS, the City Council believes Dabney-Byrn and Associates is capable of providing said surveying services and wishes to engage the services of Dabney-Byrn and Associates; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVSD BY ~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SkN MARCOS, TEXAS: Part 1. That the Agree~nt for Surveying Services between the City of San Marcos, Texas and Dabney-Byrn and Associates for the performance of pro- fessional surveying services in oonnection with the provision of a strip right- of-way map for Bishop Street· a copy of which is attached hereto and incorpor- ated herein for all intents and purposes, is hereby ~pproved in all respects. Part 2. That the City Manager of the City of San Marcos, A.C. Gonzalez, is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of said City. Part 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediate- ly from and after its passage. ADOPTED this 13th day of July · 1981. Mayor Pro Tempore Attest: Janis K. Womack City Secretary
