11.01 The Appeals Process <br /> <br />· eeC. <br /> <br />Members and Representation- The Board will be <br />comprised of 3 members: 1 from the citizen- <br />employee group, 1 from the citizen-employer <br />group, and 1 from the citizen-professional group. <br />These persons are appointed by the City Manager <br />with the consent of the City Council. Each mem- <br />ber shall be at least 25 years of age and have <br />been a resident of San Marcos for at least two <br />continuous years before appointment. The members <br />may not hold salaried public office or compensated <br />appointment nor shall they hold appointments to <br />any other City board, commission or committee. The <br />members shall not be financially, interested in any <br />contract with the City. There is no compensation <br />involved in serving on the Board. For further <br />information, see the separate manual on the Personnel <br />Appeals Board operating policies and procedures. <br />This manual will be located in the Personnel Depart- <br />ment. <br /> <br /> PART 4.
