Regular Meeting <br /> <br />January 13, 2003 <br /> <br /> 128. <br />Page 7 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING A 458 ACRE, <br />MORE OR LESS, TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE 3900-4700 BLOCKS OF <br />STATE HIGHWAY 123 SOUTH AS ~C" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (2 ACRES), ~P" <br />PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL DISTRICT (99 ACRES), ~SR~ SUBURBAN <br />RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (93.50 ACRES), UR-l" SINGLE-FAMIlY DWELLING <br />DISTRICT LOW DENSITY (115.72 ACRES), ~ZL" ZERO LOT LINE DWELLING <br />DISTRICT MEDIUM DENSITY (45 ACRES), "LB" LIMITED BUSINESS DISTRICT <br />(5.86 ACRES), "TH-2~ TOWNHOUSE RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT MEDIUM DENSITY <br />(36.15 ACRES), ~MF-2" MULTI-FAMILY DISTRICT MEDIUM DENSITY (9.73 <br />ACRES), AND "MF-3" MULTI-FAMILY DISTRICT HIGH DENSITY (29.67 ACRES) <br />INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro-Tem Mayhew introduced for consideration adoption of a <br />Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY, SOUTHWEST <br />TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY AND THE COUNTY OF HAYS FOR THE ADVANCED LAW <br />ENFORCEMENT RAPID RESPONSE TP~AINING PROJECT; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Ms. Narvaiz moved for adoption of the Resolution and Ms. Tatum seconded <br />the motion. Mr. O'Leary stated this Resolution and the next five <br />Resolutions are part of the ALERTT Grant Project. On roll call for <br />adoption of the Resolution, the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Montoya, Narvaiz, Taylor, Mayhew and Tatum. <br /> <br />NAY: None. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: Mihalkanin and Habingreither (disclosure affidavits-business <br />entity filed with City Clerk). <br /> <br />Mayor Pro-Tem Mayhew introduced for consideration adoption of a <br />Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF TWO BULLET TRAPS AND ONE TARGET SYSTEM FOR <br />THE CITY ALERRT PROJECT FROM ACTION TARGET, INC. THROUGH THE UNITED <br />STATES GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE PURCHASING DOCUMENTS WITH THE <br />UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Mihalkanin moved for adoption of the Resolution and Ms. Tatum seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro-Tem Mayhew introduced for consideration adoption of a <br />Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
