Council consensus was to wait until the road is completed and assess the noise levels of the road if untreated. Staff also looked at extending aesthetic treatments to I1-1-35. Limited right -of -way and overhead utilities are constraints. They propose using smaller trees, and monuments will have landscape treatments. Council consensus was to accept the proposed aesthetics treatments. 38. Question and answer session with press and public Griffin Spell, 1610 N. I1-1-35, Apt. 321, asked when the contract ethics policy will come back. Mayor Narvaiz replied we anticipate sometime in July or August. Shawn Blakeley, 420 Craddock, asked where will we pull the money from for item #27? City Manager Rick Menchaca stated that bond proceeds fund the project. 39. Executive Session In accordance with the Texas Government Code §551.072- Deliberation Regarding Real Property, §551.074 - Personnel Matters and §551.087- Deliberation Regarding Economic Development Matters, the San Marcos City Council convened into Executive Session at 10:24 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 in order to discuss matters pertaining to: A. Deliberation regarding land acquisition in the northwest quadrant of the City. B. Annual Appointee Evaluations; to wit: City Manager, City Clerk, City Attorney, and Municipal Court Judge. C. Deliberation on offers of possible incentives to entities considering locating or expanding in the San Marcos community. 40. The Executive Session adjourned at 1:45 a.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2010. No action was required from Executive Session. 41. Adjournment. MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Jones and a second by Councilmember Terry, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to adjourn the regular session of the San Marcos City Council at 1:47 a.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2010.
