Davidson, Frank Taylor, <br />Robert Haney, Bill Haney, Ada Burke, Jane Wilson,~ Ollie Giles, Ken Long, <br />Jeff Watkins, Gregg Echols, Jerri Martin, Chris Bishop, Frank Gordon, <br />Charles Willis, Joe Garza, Mike Gossett, Paul Heiser, Albert Ramirez, <br />Allen Goldapp,'Tom Dattillo (Dana Corp.'s legal counsel), Terry Light- <br />house, Mrs. Jean Scrutchin, Catherine Johnson and others. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of <br />the Special Meeting held August 10, 1981. Mrs. Norris moved to approve <br />the minutes and Mr. James seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of.the minutes of <br />the Regular Meeting held August 10, 1981. Mr. Brown moved to approve <br />the minutes and Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unani- <br />mously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of <br />the Emergency Meeting held August 12, 1981. Mrs. Norris moved to ap- <br />prove the minutes and Mr. Kreczmer seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes <br />of the Special Meeting held August 17, 1981. Mr. Brown moved to ap- <br />prove the minutes and Mrs. Mendez seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the final <br />Articles of Incorporation and the application for approval of the <br />creation of Capital Area Housing Finance Corporation, the Articles <br />of Incorporation to be adopted by Resolution. Mr. Brown moved to <br />table this item to a later time in the meeting, as the three citizens <br />of San Marcos who were executing the Application were not present, <br />and Mr. James seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration a discussion of John <br />Herbst with the Council of the possibility of the adult book store <br />in San Marcos being closed. Mr. Herbst was not present at the time <br />this item was introduced, so Mr. James moved to table this item until <br />later in the meeting and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock opened the public hearing on the proposed annexation <br />of 153 acres, more or less, out of the J. M. Veramendi League No. <br />Two (includes Cape's Camp). No one wished to speak in favor of the <br />annexation and no one spoke in opposition. Mr. Cavazos moved for the <br />closing of the public hearing and Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
