THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF HAYS RIGHT OF WAY EASEMENT KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That George C. Haines & Inez S. Haines, of the County of Hays , State of Texas, hereinafter referred to as Grantor, whether one or more, for the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00), in hand paid, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, does hereby GRANT, BARGAIN, SELL .and CONVEY unto the City of San Marcos, Texas, a municipal corporation existing by and under the laws of the State of Texas, its successors and assigns, hereinafter referred to as Grantee, a right-of-way and easement 5 being more particularly described as follows: feet in width, A parcel of land containing 1502 square feet out of the J. M. Veramendi League No. Two, Hays County, Texas, and being a strip five feet in width off of the southwest side of that tract conveyed by M. M. Johnson and Hattie E. Johnson to George C. Haines and Inez F. Haines by that deed recorded in Volume 200, pages 354-356 of the deed records of said county. This parcel is more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: Beginning at the south corner of the said tract, which is marked with an iron pipe, and is identical to the south corner of the 1502 square foot parcel, thence North 480-03'-00" West along the northeast line of Bugg Lane and the southwest line of the said tract a distance of 300.55 feet to the west corner of the said tract, which is marked with an iron pipe, and is identical with the west corner of the 1502 square foot parcel, thence North 43°-25'-31'' East along the northwest line of the said tract a distance of 5.00 feet to the north corner of the 1502 square foot parcel, which is marked with a steel rod and an aluminum cap, thence South 48°-03'--00'' East a distance of 300.52 feet to a point marked with a steel rod and aluminum cap on the southeast line of the said tract, which is the east corner of the 1502 square foot parcel, thence South 430-09'-57'' West along the southeast line of the said tract a distance of 5.00 feet to the point of beginning.
