Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present <br />With a quorum present, the Regular Meeting of the San Marcos City Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Susan Narvaiz at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 in the Council Chambers of the <br />City of San Marcos City Hall, 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />3. Discuss Early Voting polling locations for the November 2010 Election and incorporating <br />a canvass and runoff date in the Election order, and provide direction to staff. <br />City Clerk Sherry Mashburn provided the City Council with a list of the traditional polling <br />locations. She did not recommend any changes to the polling locations. <br />Ms. Mashburn also recommended incorporating a canvass and runoff date into the election order <br />that will come before the Council at the August 3 meeting. Council directed the City Clerk to <br />work with the Hays County Elections Administrator to determine those dates. <br />• <br />RM070610 Minutes Page 1 <br />
