Mr. Mihalkanin moved to <br />reappoint Don Nash, reappoint Cody Dailey, and reappoint Betty Sterling, <br />Mayor Narvaiz moved to appoint John Rodriguez, Mr. Taylor moved to appoint <br />Mary Borm and Mr. Diaz moved to appoint Rosina Valle, which passed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced for consideration approval of two appointments to <br />the Ethics Review Commission. Mayor Narvaiz moved to reappoint Jacqueline <br />Cable, Mr. Thomaides moved to appoint Sherwood Bishop and Mr. Taylor moved <br />to appoint Robert Seese. Mr. Guerrero moved to appoint Joe C. <br />Garza and Mr. Taylor moved to appoint Darrell Farr. On roll call the <br />following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />Garza: Diaz, Guerrero, Mihalkanin, Narvaiz, Taylor and Bose. <br /> <br />Farr: Taylor. <br /> <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to <br />the Capital Area Planning Council. Mr. Guerrero moved to appoint Mayor <br />Narvaiz. On roll call the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br /> <br />Diaz, Guerrero, Mihalkanin, Thomaides, Bose and Taylor. <br /> <br />NAY: None. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: Narvaiz. <br /> <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced a public hearing regarding an annexation <br />Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />ANNEXING TO THE CITY A TRACT OF LAND CONTAINING 103.788 ACRES, MORE <br />OR LESS, LOCATED IN THE 1400 1900 BLOCKS OF STATE HIGHWAY 21 <br />(BLANCO RIVER VILLAGE TRACT); APPROVING A SERVICE PLAN FOR THIS <br />TRACT; AND INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS. <br /> <br />Mayor Narvaiz opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak. No one did, so Mayor Narvaiz closed the public hearing. <br />
