and information. 1.0.7 Steve Guajardo, P.E. is the Engineer's Project Representative assigned to the specific projects included under the terms of this Agreement. The Engineer will not substitute another representative to act on behalf of the Engineer for these projects unless approved in writing by the City in advance of such proposed substitution. In the event the City and the Engineer cannot agree to the substitution of the Project Representative, the City may terminate this agreement in accordance with Article 8. SECTION 1- PROJECT MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES 1.1 TASK 1- MONITORING AND REPORTING PROCEDURES For each Project as assigned, the Engineer will meet with the City and other outside agencies in order to become accustomed to the required monitoring and reporting procedures and will attend meetings as follows: 1.1.1 Attend weekly staff meetings as requested. 1.1.2 Attend City Council meetings, prepare exhibits, information packets and assist with presentations as needed and requested by the City. 1.1.3 Attend neighborhood meetings, prepare agendas, exhibits, information packets and assist with presentations as needed and requested by the City. 1.2 TASK 2 - PRE-DESIGN PLANNING For each Project as assigned, the Engineer will assist the City to define projects, develop scope of services and other supporting information for the City's Requests for Qualifications ("RFQ"s) and Requests for Proposals ("RFP"s) as follows: 1.2.1 Define City Project objectives and options. 1.2.2 Develop a design and construction schedule. 1.2.3 Develop design and construction budget/cost. 1.2.4 Assist in the development of RFQs and RFPs. 1.2.5 Conduct pre-proposal conference(s). 1.2.6 Assist in analysis of RFQs and RFPs and in interviewing of selected Consultants. 1.2.7 Provide recommendation for Consultant selection.
